The Ahool
The Ahool is rumored to be a giant primate-like bat from the thick jungles on Java, Indonesia. This terrifying cryptid was named after its hair raising screech (Ahoooooool) .
Witnesses say its wingspan is larger than 10 feet and has been spotted perched in the highest treetops and flying much higher than the bats in the jungle. This nocturnal monsters legend lives on leading many to question its legitimacy.
No concrete evidence has been found to confirm its existence however the locals regard this creature as a real threat to avoid while walking though the jungle at night. They are also believed to have infectious bacteria ridden saliva similar to the Komodo dragon. We may never know if this creature is a living being or not but the locals regard it as a horrible omen and will try to avoid it all costs...
