Two Men found Dead from exposure in hunt for Bigfoot.
Two men from Portland Oregon went out searching for the infamous "Bigfoot" in the Gifford Pinchot National forest. They tragically were found dead at ages 37 and 59. Family members reported the two missing after they failed to return home on time. The deaths were said to have been caused by ill preparation and horrible weather conditions.
Due to the number of sightings in Skamania County where the men were found there's a penalty of up to one year in jail or 100 dollar fine from harming one of these ape-like bipedal creatures of folklore. This story is very sad my condolences go out to the families of the two men involved.
It was particularly interesting to me that there's a bounty on anyone that might harm a Bigfoot that makes the claims of sightings feel much more real. I believe Bigfoot is a creature from the past that has very few numbers and buries their dead. The idea of a giant bipedal ape fascinates me however the hunters that lost their lives due to the pursuit of the creature makes me feel for the relatives that lost loved ones right around Christmas. Man claims to have captured the Loch Ness Monster and Buried it beneath a local school.
A man named Charles Rankin claims he had found the mythical "Loch Ness Monster" back in the 1940's. The man also claims he was not able to photograph the beast per command from the Royal Navy in Scotland. He describes finding the remains of the mythical creature and that what was left was incredibly putrid. This prompted the man to bury the specimen near the towns incinerator which years later had a school built on top of it.
The truth of this mans account is still unknown however if true it means the fabled beast may no longer reside in Loch Ness. This story fascinates me however considering it has been such a long time since the event originally occurred it makes me much more skeptical. Its easy for me to believe something like the Loch Ness Monster exists considering there are many living and known animals that appear to be remnants from the past for instance look at the Komodo Dragon or Alligators they are like living dinosaurs.
I do think its realistic that local authorities would have barred the man from taking photos of the beast however I think the truth of this story is lost to the sands of time. Ill add a link to the original story below.
Australian Man claims he was stalked by A Dogman while in the outback.
A man in Australia was out fishing when he noticed he was being followed by a peculiar creature. When he spotted a bizarre beast in the bushes near him he began paddling and it kept up with him as he increased speed. When he began to slow down and investigate the rustling in the bushes also stopped which made him increasingly afraid. The man named "John" continued paddling until he was out of range of the creature and claimed to have feared for his life.
After the incident John continued to have bizarre dreams featuring the monster and began asking nearby residents what it could have been. Locals told him it was likely a "Dogman" a local cryptid that as suggested in the name was half man half dog. This didn't do much to quell John's fears and when he worked up the courage he returned to the fishing spot where the sighting originally happened. John claims to have waited at the exact spot and after some time he heard a very loud bang followed by loud breaking of twigs and branches inside the brush. The beast then began to roar with John claiming that the labored breathing after the creatures roar was louder than the actual roar.
John took some pictures however due to the thickness of the bush its difficult to make out the figure. John alleges that the creature was stalking him and now believes the fabled "Dogman" is very much a real creature. I think this story sounds very legitimate and makes me increasingly curious about half human and half animal hybrids. It makes me wonder if it could have been something like a werewolf or maybe an unidentified species that's thirsty for human blood.
