Cadborosaurus
Descriptions of this cryptid remind me of the mythical "kelpie" from Irish folklore, this cryptid dubbed "Caddy" is often depicted with a long, sleek body, a horse-like head, and flippers.
The legendary Cadborosaurus is believed by witnesses to inhabit the cold waters off the coast of British Columbia, Canada. Described as resembling the famous Loch Ness Monster this cryptid raises suspicions as to whether prehistoric aquatic giant lizards from the past still exist today.
There's a story from the 1930's that claims that a carcass of this monster was found deceased and was around 20 feet in length. There are conflicting claims about the appearance of this creature with some saying it looks more like a ancient Basilosaurus compared to claims of the Loch Ness Monster that liken it to a Plesiosaur. This along with many cryptids are still unconfirmed by the scientific community.
