Chupacabra
The Chupacabra, is one of the most infamous cryptids from Latin America. This creature was first reported in mid-1990s Puerto Rico after a series of livestock killings was attributed to a mysterious monster.
Reports describe this demon as a small, grotesque creature with sharp fangs. The Chupacabra has become a symbol of fear and mystery. Witnesses often describe this monster as a reptilian creature or even as a hairless dog-like animal. One possible explanation is that this creature is in fact just a dog with a skin condition called "mange" it doesn't explain however why livestock was allegedly found drained of its blood.
The name "Chupacabra" translates to "goat-sucker," deriving from its habit of draining the blood from goats and other livestock. The legend has spread across Latin America and into the United States, inspiring many theories about its origins, from alien encounters to undiscovered species. No conclusive evidence has been found to confirm its existence but the witnesses who claim to have seen it wont soon forget its terrifying aura.
