Dingonek
The Dingonek is a fascinating creature with many different descriptions. Stemming from folklore in certain areas of Kenya this cryptid has been described by some as a mix of a hippo, armadillo, whale and pangolin with leopard spots however one sighting by a big game hunter describes it as a cross between a whale, leopard and sea serpent.
The descriptions vary wildly however they seem to agree that it inhabits regions around Lake Victoria. The creature when spotted by a big game hunter was supposedly shot at behind the ear with a 303 round which had little to no effect making this monster even more mysterious.
The lore surrounding this creature is just as confusing with some reports stating this cryptid has a toxin it can emit from its tail that can cause paralysis. The Dingonek is known to be very territorial and attack boats or people foolish enough to enter its waters. It is also rumored to have a flat tail it uses as a rudder while swimming. This is one of the most bizarre cryptids which makes it hard for me to believe its real however locals claim its legitimacy making me wonder what they are actually seeing...
