MothMan
The Mothman is a mysterious yet legendary cryptid from Point Pleasant, West Virginia. It was supposedly spotted in the 1960s and described as a very tall figure with large insect-like wings and deep glowing red eyes.
Sightings of this terrifying creature are often referred to as bad omens and linked to tragedies. The tragic collapse of the Silver Bridge in 1967 is linked by some locals to this horrible creature. Witnesses say encounters with this demon were mysterious and unbelievably disturbing spurring a mix of fascination and fear within the community.
The "Mothman" has sparked a lot of questions and even more pop culture references the legitimate existence of this cryptid is still unknown to the scientific community however locals still believe the rumor's surrounding the mystery is more fact then fiction.
