The Ningen
The Japanese have many interesting cryptids and "Yokai" one very bizarre creatures is known as the Ningen. This whale creature is rumored to inhabit the freezing waters of the Antarctic.
Pale, ghostly and paired with an almost human appearance and is rumored to have human-like arms and legs. The name "Ningen" translates to human being, adding to the speculation behind its existence.
Cryptozoologists suggest this being is only a hoax with very little evidence to confirm its legitimacy. This being is believed to have been witnessed by Japanese whaling ships however the truth behind these sightings is still still unknown for now.
