Ogopogo
The Ogopogo is a legendary serpent-like creature said to inhabit Okanagan Lake in British Columbia, Canada. Originating from the folklore of local Indigenous tribes, the story of this beast follows the death of a respected leader in a local tribe that was killed by a demon possessed man that in turn was punished by native gods and turned into a serpent monster.
Eyewitness accounts of this beast have varied, suggesting it can reach lengths of up to 50 feet, with some claiming to see it rise above the water, creating ripples and waves. These sightings have sparked fascination , leading to an influx of tourists and cryptid enthusiasts to the lake.
This cryptid has been compared to monster of Loch Ness adding even more mystery to its origins. I think its plausible that such a creature could exist but I believe its more likely that its a prehistoric serpent rather than a magically cursed man however the truth of its true origins is unconfirmed for now..
