The Owl Man
The Owlman is a cryptid from the UK that's very similar to the Mothman of the US. This being has been spotted many times in Cornwall, England prompting cryptozoologists to investigate its existence.
The first sighting was in the 1970's above a church tower where the witness claims to have seen a large winged owl-like humanoid however the there is some reason to question the legitimacy considering the witness had been known for some hoaxes. There was another encounter that involved a young lady who claims the being had pointy ears, red eyes and hissed at her, frightening her significantly. Sighting have decreased overtime however the legend of the cryptid has lived on.
