This wolf-like creature that's rumored to roam the swamps and forests of Louisiana is known as the Rougarou. This creature is a fascinating figure in cryptid lore and is often described as a large shape-shifting werewolf.
This beings origin may be a simple a being made up by parents to convince their young children to go to sleep or else this beast will come after their toes, however some claim there's a more sinister origin.
