This ape-like crypid known to inhabit the swamps of Florida is said to have large glowing eyes and stand 7 to 10 feet in height. Witnesses claim it largely resembles a giant orangutan leading many skeptics to believe sightings of the great beast could be explained simply by a local escape from a zoo's orangutan exhibit or even an exotic runaway pet.
One of the most unique characteristics of this creature is its absolutely putrid stench which is a key aspect of its sightings and also where it gets its name. This creature is rumored to be much larger than an average ape or orangutan which adds even more mystery to its origins.
Reports of this creature are all centered around the everglades with some claiming they were chased by the terrifying cryptid. This creatures origin is unknown and I do like the idea that it could just be a monster orangutan however after reading some of the stories of sighting I think there could be much more we quite don't understand.
